Art Activism

Narelle Byrne's numerous photography exhibitions and other artistic projects like 'State of Mind' and 'Scale of Justice' say a lot about her professionalism and passion.

Over the years, she has mastered the art of raising critical consciousness on serious social issues as 'Peace and Reconciliation' and 'Anti War Protest' through photography and photograms.

Although her focus has been on her many activist endeavours, she also does fashion and model photography, as both are her passion.

Photography Exhibition

Most of Narelle Byrne's photographs revolve around social issues such as Violence Against women, AIDS Awareness, Anti War, drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

One of her most famous work, 'State of Mind' includes both black, white and colour images of her personal experiences in and around drug addicts to enhance public awareness on substance abuse. Most of her photographies were exhibited at the Kew Gallery from 2008 to 2012, until she bought her own gallery known as the Narelle Byrne Gallery.

Although her focus has been on her many activist endeavours, she also does fashion and model photography, as both are her passion.
